Leo Schafer

President & CEO

Following 18 years in banking and the financial services industry, Leo Schafer and his wife Katie purchased PR Diamond in July 2014. Leo began his career in Colorado with a national bank’s corporate and government credit card fraud division. He honed his skills and moved into business and commercial lending. He ending his career with  Western Alliance Bank-Torrey Pines Bank as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the Torrey Pines Bank Los Angeles & Orange Counties Commercial & Industrial underwriting teams.

Leo attended University of Nevada Las Vegas, majoring in Chemistry (still pending 12 credits). He also spent a couple of years prior to UNLV at Metro State College of Denver, a fantastic Division II university. He has been active in the non-profit world as can be seen below ranging from Boy Scouts of America to the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
